Latur, May 21 -- A memorandum demanding strict action in the NEET 2026 paper leak case and immediate relief measures for affected students was submitted on Wednesday to the District Collector's office in Latur, Maharashtra, on behalf of residents and students.
The memorandum stated that the NEET 2026 paper leak controversy had placed the future of lakhs of students across the country at risk and created an atmosphere of fear, insecurity and depression among aspirants.
It noted that the investigation into the case was currently being conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and urged authorities to announce special rehabilitation and compensation measures for students affected academically and mentally by the controversy.
