Mumbai, March 29 -- The Maharashtra Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has issued a public advisory after the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast a fresh spell of thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds and isolated hail across the state from March 30 to April 4, 2026.
According to the bulletin, the system will first affect Khandesh, Marathwada, western Vidarbha and the ghat areas of central Maharashtra from March 30, with post-noon showers, lightning and hail in parts.
Activity is expected to ease slightly on March 31 but remain unstable, before picking up again April 1-4 over Central Maharashtra, Khandesh, Marathwada and Vidarbha.
