Mumbai, May 25 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday announced that an Open Science Park would be developed at the Maharashtra State Jawahar Bal Bhavan campus in the Charni Road area of Mumbai.
Fadnavis made the announcement while inaugurating the renovated Jawahar Bal Bhavan building.
Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar, School Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha and senior officials were present.
The Chief Minister said Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde should take the initiative to connect a larger number of municipal school students with the centre, adding that it would contribute significantly to students' overall development.
