Mumbai, Aug. 14 -- BJP state chief spokesperson Navnath Ban hits out at opposition leadersMaharashtra continues to remain the country's leading state in industrial development, with 41,525 new companies registered in the state during 2025-26, BJP state chief spokesperson Navnath Ban said on Friday.
He said Maharashtra had become the first state in the country to attract more than 75 per cent of foreign investment under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The number of active companies in the country has increased from 6.78 lakh in 2015-16 to 21.17 lakh in 2026, registering a three-fold rise over the past decade.
