Mumbai, March 18 -- The Maharashtra government is set to establish a separate tribunal to address grievances of Information Technology (IT) employees, a move welcomed by the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES).
For several years, NITES has been actively highlighting issues faced by IT professionals, including forced resignations, delayed full and final settlements, Provident Fund-related problems, excessive notice periods, and the absence of an effective grievance redressal system. The organization has consistently engaged with the Labour Ministry and other government authorities through representations, meetings, and continuous follow-ups.
