Mumbai, Sept. 7 -- Amid activist Manoj Jarange Patil's ongoing hunger strike at Antarwali Sarati, the Maharashtra government has announced four major administrative measures aimed at providing relief to Maratha and Kunbi communities in education, financial assistance and employment.

The measures come as the government faces mounting pressure over the community's reservation demands, with Jarange's September 12 ultimatum approaching. While the latest resolutions offer relief on several fronts, broader demands concerning reservation and Kunbi certification remain unresolved.
