Mumbai, June 24 -- Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar on Wednesday expressed his sincere regrets in the House over the controversy surrounding his reading of an obituary motion on the first day of the ongoing legislative session.
Facing criticism from the opposition benches over linguistic errors during the tribute to the late legendary singer Asha Bhosle, Mr Narwekar clarified his position, asserting that there was no malicious intent behind the incident.
