Mumbai, March 21 -- Ajit Pawar-led NCP leader Rupali Chakankar resigned as Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Women's Commission after she met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy CM and party chief Sunetra Pawar, shortly after the opposition released photographs proving her close association with arrested godman "Captain" Ashok Kharat, who is the chairman of Shree Ishaneshwar Mahadev Temple Trust at Mirgaon in Sinnar taluka of Nashik district.
