Mumbai, May 28 -- An all-night marathon meeting was held in Delhi on Wednesday by top leaders of the ruling Mahayuti parties including Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar to arrive at a seat-sharing formula to contest the forthcoming Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad) election in Maharashtra, sources informed on Thursday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President Nitin Nabin held consecutive meetings of the leaders of the Mahayuti.

BJP state president Ravindra Chavan handed over a list of 48 possible names to party president Nitin Nabin.

After that, a very important personal meeting was held between Chief Minister Fadnavis and Nitin Nabin late at night.
