Mumbai, May 26 -- Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Tuesday launched the 'TB Mukt Mumbai Campaign to be implemented by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation at Lokmanya Tilak Hospital in Sion here which caters to various slum colonies.
The 'TB Mukt Mumbai' campaign, a part of the 'TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was launched by the BMC at the instance of Lok Bhavan with focus on the slum areas of Mumbai.
The inauguration of the 'TB Free Mumbai' campaign, organized on the initiative of Maharashtra Lok Bhavan, was attended by Mayor Ritu Tawde, Deputy Mayor Sanjay Ghadi, and officials of the Municipal Corporation.
