Mumbai, Aug. 26 -- The School Education and Sports Department of the Maharashtra government, OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation and Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust (RNCT) on Wednesday signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide quality eye care services to schoolchildren studying in government schools across Maharashtra.
Under the partnership, the 'Vision for All' School Eye Health Programme will be implemented on a large scale, covering eye screenings for 2 million students from Classes 5 to 10 in Zilla Parishad and government schools across the state. The programme will be implemented over three years, from August 2026 to June 2029.
