Latur, March 15 -- A cyber fraud case involving more than Rs 24.59 lakh has come to light in Latur after a 34-year-old man from Prakash Nagar was allegedly cheated through a fake work-from-home investment scheme promising high earnings.
The victim, identified as Pawan Kumar Rajkumar Gandle, reportedly lost Rs 24 lakh 59 thousand 352 after being lured by the promise of large commissions through online investments. Following the complaint, the MIDC Police Station has registered a case against an unidentified accused and initiated an investigation.
