Pune, Sept. 5 -- Amid ongoing controversy over the use of DJs during upcoming Ganeshotsav festival in Pune and other parts of Maharashtra, a tragic accident occurred in the Old Sangvi area of Pimpri-Chinchwad on occasion of Dahi Handi, claiming the life of a 45-year-old woman.
According to preliminary information, a large DJ setup installed on a vehicle for a local Dahi Handi celebration suddenly lost its balance and collapsed onto the woman as she was passing along the road. She sustained serious injuries in the incident.
