Nagpur, April 18 -- Vidarbha remained in the grip of scorching heat today, with temperatures soaring beyond 44 across most districts.
Nagpur recorded a maximum temperature of 44.2 degrees Celsius, marginally up by 0.2 degrees from the previous day.
Wardha turned out to be the hottest location in the region, registering a blistering 45 degrees C.
It was followed by Nagpur at 44.2 degrees C and Amravati at 44.0 degrees C, while Akola also experienced severe heat, reporting a high of 43.3 degrees C.
