Washim, June 14 -- Two youths were drowned in the Adan river in Maharashtra's Washim district today morning, officials said.
The incident occurred near the Shri Gomukheshwar Sansthan at Inzori village in Manora tehsil, where the youths had gone for swimming.
One of them reportedly entered deep waters and began drowning, following which the other jumped into the river in an attempt to rescue him. But, both drowned in the process.
