Mumbai, March 5 -- Police have arrested two youths for allegedly stalking, molesting and harassing a foreign woman traveller in central Mumbai after a video post of the victim went viral, officials said here today.
The accused, identified as 22-year-old Mansukhkumar Chandkishor Sharma and 20-year-old Gulshankumar Naresh Sharma, were arrested and later produced in the court which remanded them into police custody for three days.
Local Agripada police station has registered the offence after the video of the alleged incident came to its notice.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under Sections 74, 78(1)(p) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Act. Multiple police teams were formed to trace the suspects. Inve...
