Nashik, April 15 -- The Rural Police have registered a case against three people, including a temple trustee, on the charge of duping and illegally extorting Rs 3,000 under the pretext of facilitating 'VIP Darshan' (priority access reserved for VVIPs) at the Trimbakeshwar Temple in the district.
It has come to light that devotees visiting the Trimbakeshwar Temple-one of the twelve Jyotirlingas-were illegally extorted Rs 3,000 for facilitating 'VIP Darshan'.
