Pune, June 1 -- Three people lost their lives in separate drowning incidents reported in Maval taluka of the district on Sunday, highlighting the growing danger of swimming in rivers during the summer season.
One incident occurred in the Pavana River near Bebadohal in the jurisdiction of the Shirgaon-Parandwadi Police Station. Another tragedy reportedly occurred in a deep pool of the Indrayani River near the Four Bridges area close to Sant Tukaram Maharaj's Gatha Mandir in Dehu under the Dehu Road Police Station limits. The third incident took place at Kundmala in the Indrayani riverbed within the jurisdiction of Talegaon MIDC Police Station.
