Solapur, Nov. 4 -- A case involving 14 serious offences, including attempt to murder and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, has been registered against Sushil Valmik Karad of Parli, along with Anil Munde and Gopi Ganjewar, at the MIDC Police Station in Solapur.
The case was registered as a Zero FIR following a woman's complaint and her prolonged legal battle seeking police action.
According to the complaint, the woman's husband was employed by Sushil Karad as a marketing manager and computer operator. The woman had started a transport business after purchasing two vehicles on loans and had also bought a plot of land in Parli Vaijnath.
