Ch. Sambhajinagar, April 4 -- The Maharashtra School Education Department has announced a statewide verification drive to ensure the accuracy of student attendance and enrolment records across schools.

The exercise will be conducted in phases on April 11, April 15 and April 22, with officials tasked with verifying student presence and institutional records on the ground.

According to the department, teams of officers will be constituted at multiple administrative levels to carry out physical inspections. These teams will visit schools directly to cross-check attendance registers and confirm the authenticity of enrolment data, as part of a broader effort to strengthen transparency in the education system.
