Mumbai, June 27 -- The political atmosphere in Maharashtra has intensified following the recent defection of six Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) members of Parliament to the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, with Uddhav Thackeray continuing his tour of the rebels' constituencies to hold public rallies while Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has launched a stinging rebuttal, targeting his predecessor with sharp criticisms.
Speaking from Raigad, Shinde dismissed Thackeray's rallies as "too little, too late".
