Mumbai, July 27 -- Police have busted an alleged sex racket operating under the guise of a luxury spa in Mira Road town of adjoining Thane district, rescued five women and arrested two persons, officials said today.

Acting on a specific intelligence, a team of Mira Road Police station raided A.N.K Luxury Salon & Spa at Beverly Park and found that the establishment was allegedly being used for prostitution under the cover of massage and spa services.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-I) Rahul Chavan said five women were rescued during the operation, while two persons allegedly involved in running the racket were arrested.
