Mumbai, July 20 -- Security was stepped up at Kalyan and Mumbra railway stations on suburban lines of the Central Railway today after police received information about an alleged plot to blow up the two stations.
However, no suspicious object or explosive material was found during an extensive search, officials said.
The alert was triggered after a caller, identified as Brijesh Kumar, informed the police helpline (112) that he had overheard three individuals discussing a plan to target the two railway stations.
