Raigad, April 14 -- A serious lapse in security arrangements has come to light at Raigad Fort, the historic capital of the Maratha empire, where all 59 CCTV cameras are currently non-functional, raising major concerns over safety and monitoring.
The surveillance system has reportedly become defunct due to lack of maintenance and repairs, leaving the fort without proper security oversight. This has brought the issue of visitor safety and heritage protection to the forefront.
