Nashik, Oct. 15 -- The School of Artillery at Deolali Camp will conduct artillery and field firing exercises using live ammunition in the notified 'Z' Sector on October 27, 2026, from 8 am to 4 pm.
As certain areas within the revenue limits of villages in Nashik and Igatpuri talukas fall within the artillery firing zone, villagers have been warned against entering the restricted areas.
Additional District Magistrate Rohitkumar Rajput issued the appeal through an official press release here today.
The areas falling within the firing zone include parts of Vanjarwadi, Lahavit Railway Station and Loh Shingwe in Nashik taluka, as well as Ghoti Chi Wadi, Ghoti Khurd, Nandgaon, Nandur Vaidya, Sakur, Belgaon Kurhe and Aswali Railway Station in I...
