Pune, Oct. 8 -- Satyaki Savarkar, great-grandson of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, today declined to comment when questioned about remarks attributed to Gopal Godse comparing the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) with thieves during the cross-examination in the criminal defamation case filed against senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, said Rahul Gandhi lawyer Milind Pawar.
The cross-examination of Satyaki Savarkar, the complainant in the case, was conducted by Adv Pawar before Special MP-MLA Court Judge Amol Shriram Shinde in Pune.
The case pertains to alleged defamatory remarks against freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
