Latur, Sept. 12 -- NCP (Sharad Pawar) MLA Rohit Pawar today alleged that a racket involving the National Testing Agency (NTA), some officials and agents was operating around competitive examinations, claiming that the network had a turnover of thousands of crores of rupees.

Addressing students here, Pawar said the alleged racket affected examinations, such as NEET, with question papers reportedly being sold for as much as Rs 70 lakh. He said parents make enormous sacrifices and suppress their own dreams to support their children's education and therefore, examinations must be conducted in a transparent manner.
