Satara, April 2 -- Considering strong opposition from farmers in the Kolhapur district, the Maharashtra government has approved the revised plan of the Nagpur to Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway with inclusion of Satara district now.

Anil Kumar Gaikwad, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the State Road Development Corporation, today said that the plan has been modified with omission of some parts of Sangli and Kolhapur districts. Now, the Satara district has been included.
