Nashik, June 9 -- Additional Chief Secretary (Public Works and Forest Departments), Milind Mhaiskar, today directed the Public Works Department to complete the planned works for the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Nashik-Trimbakeshwar on schedule.
He further instructed the Revenue Department to expedite the land acquisition process to facilitate this.
A review meeting titled "Land Acquisition: Current Status and Expected Guidance" was held this morning at the central hall of the District Collector's office in preparation for the Kumbh Mela. Mhaiskar presided over the meeting.
