Mumbai, April 18 -- The state is likely to witness a spell of unstable weather conditions between April 20 and April 22, with weather forecasts indicating partly cloudy skies and the possibility of thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning and gusty winds, across several regions of Maharashtra.

According to the latest weather assessment, areas in western Maharashtra-particularly the Ghat regions-along with Khandesh, Marathwada and parts of Vidarbha, may experience afternoon cloud build-up followed by thunderstorm activity. During this period, lightning strikes, moderate rainfall and isolated incidents of hail are also likely in some locations.
