Mumbai, Oct. 19 -- Sharad Pawar-led NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad today said that he has filed a police complaint against unknown persons, after he allegedly received a telephonic death threat on Sunday at 4.30 am.
Awhad shared a mobile phone number and tweeted on his X handle that, "A person called me from the mobile phone number 7038841820 three times. He spoke to me using abusive language on the mobile phone and threatened to kill me. This started from 4.30 am. The person who rang me up, told me that a person is standing at the doorstep of my house to kill me."After this incident, when Awhad's party activist Hemant Wani called the mobile number, the person who picked up the call allegedly threatened to kill Wani as well.
