Mumbai, Aug. 27 -- More than 80 citizens from Maharashtra are reported stranded following the devastating flash floods that struck the Nepal-Tibet region on August 26, the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC), Maharashtra said on Wednesday.

In its status report, as of 10 a.m., on August 27, SEOC said the figure is based on primary information and is being verified.

Of the stranded citizens, 57 had travelled through Richa Tours Pvt. Ltd., the agency highlighted.

SEOC further added that a web-based link has been developed to collect information on stranded people and the link has been circulated to all districts and publicised through various channels.
