Nandurbar, Oct. 2 -- One person was killed on the spot and several others were injured after a passenger vehicle overturned on the Taloda-Chinoda road in Nandurbar district today.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred when the speeding vehicle overturned while allegedly being pursued by a Regional Transport Office (RTO) vehicle. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed.
There were approximately 15 to 20 passengers on board at the time of the accident. Three passengers sustained serious injuries and were immediately shifted to the Nandurbar District Hospital for treatment, while three other injured passengers are undergoing treatment at the Taloda Sub-District Hospital.
