Kolhapur/Sindhudurgnagari, Aug. 7 -- The Maharashtra State Internal Committe (SIC) has issued show cause notices to 672 offices, including 294 government and 378 private, for not fulfilling the requirements regarding POSH Act-2013 (The Sexual Harrasment of Women at Workplace Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act).
In an official press release, Bapu Shingare, District Women and Child Development Officer, said "An inspection campaign is underway in government and private offices in the state for the effective implementation of the 'POSH Act-2013' to prevent sexual harassment of women at work.
