Mumbai, July 26 -- Around 50 tribal students of the Government Tribal Ashram School at Titamba in Dharni tehsil of Melghat in Maharashtra's Amravati district were hospitalised after they allegedly suffered food poisoning following dinner served at the residential school, officials said on Sunday.
The incident occurred late on Saturday when students began complaining of vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain and dizziness a few hours after consuming their evening meal.
The affected students were immediately shifted to the Dharni Sub-District Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Health officials said all the students are stable and out of danger.
