Nagpur, May 26 -- Leaders and workers of the Opposition NCP (SP) today organised a bicycle rally in Maharashtra's Nagpur city to protest against the recent increase in petrol and diesel prices and rising inflation.

The protest, led by former state minister Anil Deshmukh and NCP (SP) city president Duneshwar Pethe, began at Samvidhan Square, where party members held a demonstration before proceeding on bicycles to the district collectorate.

A memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was submitted during the protest.
