Nashik, Aug. 12 -- With road conditions in the city emerging as a major concern for citizens, the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) today took up the issue of unplanned excavation and poor restoration work being carried out by Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL).
A meeting was held at the Smart City Office to discuss the concerns surrounding MNGL's excavation and road restoration work, focusing on ensuring that gas pipeline work does not come at the cost of citizens' safety, smooth traffic movement and the quality of city roads.
After detailed discussions, NMC and MNGL agreed on a clear set of measures to improve the execution of work on the ground.
