Mumbai, April 26 -- Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Mumbai Police arrested a constable with Traffic Police while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1,700 from an autorickshaw driver to allow him to ply the rickshaw and not to issue challans on the rickshaw, officials said here today.

According to the details, the complainant is a rickshaw driver and runs a rickshaw on a contract basis in Ghatkopar West area. In order to allow the complainant to run his rickshaw at Gandhi Nagar in Vikhroli West, Traffic police constable Satish Rathod had demanded a bribe of Rs. 1,700 per week to run the rickshaw and not to issue challans on the rickshaw.
