Kolhapur, July 31 -- The district and sessions court here has convicted and sentenced a 27-year-old man to 20 years rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 50,000 for repeatedly sexually assaulting an underaged girl at Kini village in Hatkanangale tehsil of the district for two months from January of 2021.
Public prosecutor Rajesh Chavan said in a press release issued today that accused Sudarshan Shankar Madane alias Jaran (27), a resident of Tasgaon, lured and sexually assaulted an underage girl with false promise of marriage for two months from January to February 2021.
