Mumbai, July 14 -- A 27-year-old man has been arrested in Mumbai's Dahisar area for allegedly performing an obscene act inside a lift in front of a 13-year-old girl, police said on Tuesday.
According to Dahisar Police, the incident occurred inside the lift of a residential building in the Jan Kalyan Nagar, Shanti Nagar area.
The accused has been identified as Nasir Amin Pathan.
Police said that on the day of the incident, the accused allegedly exposed himself and made obscene gestures while staring at the minor girl.
A woman who was also present in the lift noticed the act and raised an alarm. She confronted the accused and threatened to record a video of him and make it public.
