Mumbai, July 26 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai and Thane districts on Monday, while placing neighbouring Raigad under an orange alert, warning of heavy rainfall in parts of the region.
The weather bureau, however, said the intensity of rainfall is likely to ease after Monday, with only moderate rain expected over next few days.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) remained under overcast skies today as intermittent showers continued throughout the day.
