Mumbai, March 27 -- The Bombay High Court has dismissed a petition seeking a CBI probe against Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani over alleged unlawful extraction of natural gas from ONGC's Krishna-Godavari basin located off the coast of Andhra Pradesh in Bay of Bengal fields between 2004 and 2014.
The petition was filed by Jitendra P Maru, an Indian citizen, urging the court to direct the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the union of India to take action.
However, a bench of Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Suman Shyam refused to entertain the petition.
