Mumbai, Oct. 27 -- The Bombay High Court today granted interim relief to Bollywood actor Imran Khan by keeping in abeyance a notice directing him to leave India by October 28, with the Centre assuring the court that no coercive action would be taken against him until November 2.
A division bench, comprising Chief Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi and Justice Advait Sethna, briefly heard Khan's writ petition challenging the legality of the notice issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) on October 14.
