Mumbai, Sept. 16 -- A major fire broke out at Umar Apartment in Khandupada area of neghbouring Bhiwandi city on Wednesday morning, gutting around 13 to 14 two-wheelers parked in the building premises with no injury reported, officials said.
The incident occurred near Safiya School, triggering panic among residents as the flames rapidly spread through the parking area and engulfed the vehicles. The two-wheelers were completely gutted in the blaze.
Prima facie, a short circuit is suspected to have caused the fire, though the exact reason is yet to be established.
