Gadchiroli, Sept. 10 -- A Gadchiroli court has rejected the anticipatory bail application of former Congress MP Marotrao Kowase in connection with the case arising from the death of three tribal girl students in a snakebite incident at a government-aided ashram school in Japatlai village of Dhanora taluka.
The case pertains to the death of three students and injuries to three others after a snake entered the girls' hostel of the ashram school on August 9 and bit the children while they were asleep.
Following the incident, police registered a case against members of the school management and trustees, alleging negligence in providing adequate safety measures and basic facilities for students.
