Pune, Aug. 24 -- The Maharashtra government is committed to resolving the problems faced by industries in the Chakan-Talegaon industrial corridor and preventing their relocation, Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde said today.
He announced that immediate as well as long-term measures were being undertaken to provide adequate infrastructure to industries and permanently address traffic congestion in the region.
The Deputy Chief Minister visited Talegaon and Chakan and inspected ongoing road repair works before holding a meeting with representatives of industrial units.
