Mumbai, July 6 -- A Sessions court in Nasik today granted bail to Nida Khan, prime accused in the sexual harassment and religious coercion case at Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) Nashik BPO.
Khan had stated in her bail application that she is two months pregnant and the offences invoked against her are punishable with less than seven years of imprisonment. She herself is a woman; how can she be involved in outraging the modesty of another?The case involves multiple complaints filed by employees over the years, pointing to alleged harassment, coercion and religious pressure within TCS.
Police have named several individuals as accused in the case.
