Mumbai, Aug. 8 -- A 41-year-old Mumbai Police constable deployed on security duty outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in western suburb of Bandra died after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest today evening, police said.
The deceased was identified as Constable Ganesh Rayate, attached to the LA-4 unit of the Mumbai Police.
According to police, Rayate complained of sudden uneasiness while performing his duty outside Galaxy Apartments around 1800 hours. He was immediately rushed to Bhabha Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Preliminary information indicated that Rayate died of cardiac arrest.
