Mumbai, June 5 -- The Maharashtra unit of Congress party today blamed the Devendra Fadnavis-led state government for the loss of 22 lives who died last week after consuming toxic liquor in Pune and also sought to know whether the recommendations of the Malvani Committee were implemented or not.

Speaking to journalists at the party headquaters Tilak Bhavan here, Sachin Sawant, National Secretary of the Congress Party and Co-Incharge of Telangana, said that 22 people died last week after consuming toxic liquor in Pune.
