Kolhapur, May 20 -- Extending their support to a nationwide 'bandh' called by All India Organization of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD) against illegal online drug sales and competition from big corporate companies, thousands of medical and drugs shops in the district participated in today's 'bandh'.
Madam Patil, president of Kolhapur District Chemists and Druggists Association, said in a press release here that 4,000 chemists and druggists in the district today responded to the 'bandh call' enthusiastically by keeping their shops shuttered.
